Tinmouse 737 200

  1. This is the support forum for the TinMouse II Boeing 737-200 add-on located in the AVSIM Library - TinMouse II Boeing 737-200.
  2. Don't know if you are aware of the fact that Richard Probst B737-200 panel project is coupled with Terry Gaff's B737-200 excellent visual model, within one name - TinMouse B737-200 Adv. Go get it on AVSIM I have really good impression of this old girl.

FS2004 – Panel For TinMouse II Boeing 737-200.This self-installer package includes a B737-200 ADV photoreal panel with the Sperry-177 Autopilot module and several other features like GPWS, movable yoke, ground handling, crew advisor module (in Spanish), captain’s approach view, manual, and the updated TinMouse II aircraft (pax and cargo only) with the new Icaro and Icaro Cargo liveries.

The news this weekend that Captain Sim are working on and are shortly to release a Boeing 737-100, which is no doubt going to be a corker judging by their previous creations, leads me to highlight the Tinmouse 737-200.Tinmouse 737 200 fsx

Tinmouse 737-200The Captain Sim model I believe will only be available for FSX, so for those that want a really superb rendition of this classic 737 and want it for FS2004 then look no further than this baby.
It has lovely exterior modelling, an equally superb panel coupled with its own sounds and a good flight model, so really - whats not to like!
Oh and did I forget to mention.... carrying on with the theme of this months posts, its freeware!
You can find the Tinmouse 737-200 by searching for 'tinmouse' in 'Flight Simulator 2004 - Original Aircraft' in the Avsim files library which will lead you to the download file: tinmouse_ii_v1.31_update.zip.Tinmouse 737-200

Have fun!

Erick Cantu, of Vistaliners, Eastern Virtual, Kittyhawk and SGA fame once uploaded the Gmax source files for a lot of his planes. The TinMouse team, Bob Scott, Richard Probst, etc... once assembled a great panel for the Boein 737-200Adv with a lot of bells and whistles. The aircraft models included in the TinMouse package, however, did not have a virtual cockpit. So I took Erick's 737-200Adv source file, patched it up and produced a virtual cockpit model for it. Although initially released for FS9, I always had FSX in mind when making the exterior and interior models. So after I got back into FSX, I've modified even more stuff and released a FSX native model of the aircraft.

As the TinMouse panel is a complex thing, failry old and written in an inaccessble format (C++ instead of XML), panel integration is not perfect and there are a few quirks which the avid pilot should know about. These are outlined in the readme.

There is no coherent manual. All information regarding the features of the virtual cockpit and exterior model is contained in the Readme file, while the aircraft folder contains the original TinMouse manual for the panel and systems. Read both to be able to operate the aircraft!

I'm still writing a manual that is adapted to the TinFork model. But my motivation is very low and thus it will still be a long, long while until completion.
